Scenes from a Palette

I am sure all of us have these looks ... we just put them on and immediately we feel pretty ... like the makeup is a confidence injection. I don't know why ... but this is one of them for me. I have always loved the combination of pink and black on the eyes, and these two are really pretty. I am totally loving all my new MAC goodies, though it is taking some time to get used to using pressed shadows since I have used loose shadows for so long now. Still love all my BE of course, but I can definitely get some good use out of the MAC stuff.

And using the MAC brushes is a nice change too! The 219 is such a great brush!

basic face routine
MAC Dollymix blush; used MAC 129 face brush

MAC ShadeStick in Beige-ing over entire eye area; used fingers to blend
MAC Grand Entrance starflash shadow dry on browbone and around entire eye area; used Face Secrets Shadow Blender brush
MAC Knight Divine veluxe pearl shadow dry in crease, along lower lashline and on outer third of lid; used MAC 239 shadow brush
MAC Stars N' Rockets veluxe pearl shadow dry on inner two thirds of lid and swept up into crease; used MAC 239 shadow brush
lid colours blended together; used MAC 219 pencil brush
Chanel Exceptionnel de Chanel mascara in Smoky Noir

Duwop Prime Venom
Bourjois Cosmic Effet 3D lip gloss #23
