I got the new UDPP Sin yesterday and tried it out today so here is my review.

First of all ... I despise the original UDPP ... I am only 25 and it makes my eyelids look like I am 60. Not a good look .... crepey lids are never a good thing. This version, however, is MUCH different. No crepiness whatsoever, and it was even tacky so I think it will make a great base for shadows. As with the original, a little goes a long way.

The colour is pretty, but I was really hoping it would be a bit lighter and slightly more shimmery. Still makes a great cream shadow for this quick look though. All in all I am really pleased with it ... though I will be cussing up a storm when the time comes to cut it up (note to UD: change this friggin packaging!!!)

I am also trying out the Lancome La Laque Fever glosses ... the colours are pretty, they feel great on and they stay on FOREVER. I put it on at 7AM and it was still on my lips at 2PM when I started peeling at them (bad habit ... so shoot me).

All products/tools used are MAC unless otherwise stated.

Smashbox Halo powder in Fair; used EDM Flattop Kabuki brush
Petticoat MSF as blush and on high points of face; used 165 face brush

UDPP Sin over entire eye area; blend with fingers
Penultimate liner pen in Rapidblack
Rimmel Glam Eyes mascara in Extreme Black

BE Krystal buxom lip polish; blot
Plum Royale cremestick lip liner
Lancome La Laque Fever gloss in Plum Wave

Questions? Comments? Please feel free to post ... and thanks for looking!

  1. I agree with you on Sin. It is creamier than the original....but it is a bit too pink for my taste. I still use it, but I was hoping it would be more cream/white and slightly sparklier - kinda like Bare Study. I wanted to just be able to slap it on and go, but I still feel like I need a brow highlight bc it's too pink.

  2. erin, i love love LOVE UDPP sin... i totally agree with the difference in formula. i always loved the staying power of the original, but the creamier "sin" just seals the deal. i still use it with s/s and i get no crepey-ness at all.

if they would market this in!

Please be nice (that doesn't mean you have to like the look ... just be nice about not liking it!) ... no one likes a troll ;)
