Well, it took me long enough to use this one! All in all I am surprised at how much I like the eye colours, but they have some subtle nuances that make them really pretty! I absolutely love High Style ... it is such a pretty cream colour.
Enjoy!

BE Free
The first time I tried this look it was SO awful that I wiped it off immediately ... I can count the number of times that I have had to do that on one hand, so it was REALLY bad! So, needless to say, this morning I was rather hesitant to try it again ... but I think it worked out really well. I have always loved Fire Opal ... and this look makes me love it even more.
Enjoy!

Tea Party ... and skincare update!
Let me first say that I went a bit overboard with the blue under the eye ... it didn't look nearly this stark in person at least. Other than that I LOVE THESE COLOURS! I am so glad I finally put them together, because they belong together. I just love them!
Oh yes ... and I got a shipment confirmation about my skincare stuff from Mario Badescu ... it has a scheduled delivery of Thursday ... so if it makes it here then it will be five days from order to door-step, which is pretty darn good in my opinion!
Enjoy!

Garden Party
This whole look was done in a BIG hurry ... gotta love it when you start your whole week out by waking up late (grrrrrrr!). So anyways ... the point of me telling you that is just that the colour placement is not all that creative.
I still love the colours and the combo of them together (GF Kathleen ... where have you been all my life?!?!?) but given more time I would have put them together differently.
And I love new Diamond Buxoms ... sparkle is so my thing. And Aubergine blush is great too (thank you Lisa!) ... so the combo all together is a real keeper.
Enjoy!

New SkinCare journey ... featuring Mario Badescu products!
OK, so I am going to chronicle EVERYTHING about this because I have heard great reviews of this line overall and it was recommended to me by someone here on the blog (thank you Sue!)
I placed my order on Friday ... and got five products for a little over $70, which I think is not all too bad for products with such great reviews.
The first update you will receive this week will be when I get them ... cause it will be important how well their shipping process is.
What I would like from all of you is this: if you have ever used the line, please let me know what you think. I will try to do posts weekly on what I think the progress is of my skin and (GASP!) maybe some makeup-less pics to show what I mean.
Please give me any feedback you can ... I am interested in knowing what all the skincare divas think. The products I ordered are as follows, and all are from www.mariobadescu.com
Glycolic Foaming Cleanser
Special C Cleansing Lotion
Drying Lotion
Drying Cream
Buffering Lotion
I am also going to consider ordering the Drying Mask (let's face it ... i forget to use the masks I have so that would probably be the same as this one). Thanks for reading my ramble!

Romantic Comedy
Overall ... I am just not a fan. As a look together, except for the lips (which I LOVE) it is just kinda a blah look! Drama is a great colour, and Venus is as well ... but add Frolic and it just kinda dulls it out. There are much better pinks ... and much better combos ... out there. I am still glad I got the kit because it was the only availability of Venus, but all in all I will probably never use them together again.
Enjoy!
Face:
basic face routine
Secret blush; used Tapered Blush brush
Eyes:
MAC ShadeStick in Beige-ing over entire eye area; used fingers
Venus dry on browbone and around entire eye area; used Flathead Shadow brush

Lancome Oscillation mascara in black

Carmen FC Buxom lip polish

The Mysticals
This set is actually meant to be used over other colours ... to smoke them out ... and I find these colours COMPLETELY useless for that, which is probably why I have never used them. But like this I was really really surprised ... not at all what I was going for, but I still like it!
And this is one of my favorite lipsticks ... it is much more purple in person, and I am all about the purple lips.
Enjoy!

This look was the QVC Spring or Summer Catalog Special in 2007 ... and the first time I tried the colours together I HATED them so much that I never used any of them sense.
What a wonder the right base makes ... add a white base and now I LOVE them! I have always listed Peach Puff on that list of colours that hate me, but today I really really love it.

Beach Bunny ... from the Archive!
I am pulling this one out of the archive just cause I like it! No other reason other than that ... the colours in it are still some of my faves (Water Lily is a must have ... if you don't have it ... GET IT!) and for some strange reasons I actually got my lashes to look good in this one ... seriously considering going back to that mascara just because of this look.
Anyways ... enjoy the blast from the past!

Bargain Alert! UD 24/7 Eye Pencil sets at ULTA
I have been WAITING FOREVER for them to come out with more sets of these. The eyeliners are fabulous ... they go on so smooth you just want to keep applying them and they stay on forever ... even on your waterline. Not to mention that the colours are, true to the style of Urban Decay, bright and gorgeous. I love them ... so when I opened this weeks ULTA ad this week and saw them of course I went and got them as soon as they opened this morning.
My only complaint is that neither of these two sets have Deviant in them, which is the one I have been really wanting. Since they are normally $16 a piece I am thinking that I will just go ahead and pick that one up on its own but for these sets ($29 per set, two sets to choose from) to have five colours each they are a total steal.
Both sets come with Zero, the jet black one, and I already had Bourbon ... so if anyone is interested I have listed the extras of those two in the classifieds at MM. Otherwise I am hoping that the pics make it clear what colours are in which set.
To purchase them go here ... or hop on over to your closest ULTA. I doubt these will last long. Enjoy oogling them!

If you are just wanting a similar product but not the sets, I have mentioned the comparison of the Sephora Flashy liner pencils as well. These babies are $8 a pop at any Sephora or online, and the wearability and colours are comparable. They don't have quite as many colours that I just love as the UD ones, but for $8 they are great comparison. Here are some swatches of the ones I have. In person, the Flashy Orange is a liner pencil clone of BE's Fire Opal glimmer. Hope this helps!
