Kat Von D Beethoven I

I got one of the Kat Von D eye palettes in a deal on Specktra and all in all, given the reviews, I am personally impressed. This line is a Sephora collaboration, meaning that it is Sephora brand makeup with KVD branding on it. I have heard not so good reviews on the Sephora eye shadows, but these must be formulated differently because they are great! They are not chalky at all and have great colour payoff ... I didn't have to build them up at all! They come with eight shadows to a pallette, and this look uses the four on the left side of that.

Enjoy!

Face:
basic face routine
MAC Petticoat MSF as blush; used Heavenly Blush brush

Eyes:
MAC Shadestick in Beige-ing over entire eye area; used fingers to blend
KVD Tequila (yellow) dry on browbone and around entire eye area; used Face Secrets Shadow Blender brush
KVD Speed Blue (blue ... duh!) dry in crease, lining lower lashline and on outer third of lid; used MAC 217 and 239 shadow brushes and MAC 266 liner brush
KVD Raxor Gray dry on inner two thirds of lid, wrapped around inner corner and swept up into crease; used MAC 239 shadow brush
MAC Blacktrack fluidline along upper lashline only
KVD Lucifer dry lined over fluidline along upper lashline only
Chanel Exceptionnel de Chanel mascara in Smoky Noir

Lips:
Duwop Prime Venom
PUR Minerals Cranberry Quartz lip liner
Urban Decay Ultraglide lip gloss in Gash

  2. This is a beautiful and vibrant look!
I was thinking...do you have the black primer from TSS?
I think you need to try it and post with it. The colors that you've been doing lately would be even more vibrant (I think).
