How To Steal A Million

This look was done as a request from our dear lovely Paige at MM. The best things I can say about her just don't do her personality justice, but I can honestly say that you Paige are a bright, generous and extremely positive person to have around ... and I greatly appreciate people like you in the world.

Paige asked for me to recreate Audrey Hepburn's look in the old film "How to Steal a Million" ... and I have tried my best to do so. It still isn't quite a match because no matter how hard I try with technique and shaping I will never even be able to fake having Audrey Hepburns eyes or wide smile, but the look in and of itself is pretty cool. Not only that, but it was alot of fun to attempt.

The bottom photo is what Paige kindly linked me to for inspiration, and it helped a great deal (how we lucked into having a photo with her eyes closed is beyond good fortune) ... and of course, here is the IMDB link to the movie.

Enjoy!

  1. I think you look simply divine, dahling! All that is missing is those false eyelashes! You certainly look like a Million, so no need to resort to stealing! Thanks for honoring my request! :-)

And yes ... I am feeling better. Still really swollen throat, but at least it isn't on fire anymore! Thanks for all the get-well wishes!
